Undoubtedly, the quality of life in rural areas has significantly deteriorated due to lack of financial resources in municipalities to invest in technical, social, educational, cultural infrastructure, which greatly complicates the maintenance and provision of quality basic services in small towns. Given the isolated opportunities for organizing and attending cultural events and other activities for the use of free time in small towns, the role of community centers as cultural and social centers is extremely important. The Chitalishte provides a complex of social, cultural, educational and information services that are accessible and sought after by different age groups.
In this regard, the opportunity provided by the Community-led Local Development Strategy of the NGO "LAG Ardino - Jebel" through measure 7.2. for construction, reconstruction, repair, restoration, equipment and furnishing of sites related to cultural life, which are essential and provide a good social environment in rural municipalities in the country. The inclusion of measures to improve the cultural environment is also a prerequisite for the development of rural areas and their ability to retain the population and attract investment in these areas.
The project envisages and includes costs for the purchase of the necessary sound equipment for the needs of the Rodopska Iskra 1921Community Center, Ardino.
