The budget line is for the period 01.03.2019-31.12.2021. The budget line will provide funding for a percentage of employees' remuneration (basic salaries and bonuses) and due contributions, temporary incapacity expenses and other due by the employer (annual leave, overtime, additional remuneration) on a monthly basis for each employee for the implementation of the Certifying Authority functions in relation to the European Structural and Investment funds. . This is paid for performance of the functions of the Certifying Authority (CA) for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF) in Bulgaria 01.03.2019-31.12.2021. The budget line will contribute to strengthening the administrative capacity of CO in order to stabilize the level of turnover, which will lead to increase of absorption of funds from the EU funds. CA employees contribute to directly intervene in the process of certification of funds and are responsible for timely, qualitative and effective reporting of funds to the EC and all other activities related to EU financial management as regards to checks, control, certification and disbursement of funds.
