The company is present on the Bulgarian market since 2000. Since September 2010 "MIKROPAK" Ltd. moved its production facilities in the town of Pernik. The main production activity is thermoforming. Thermoforming is a process, where the plastic sheet /foil/ is heated to a temperature until becomes plastic and deformable. At this time the sheet /foil/ is pressed against the contours of a matrix by mechanical and vacuum pressure. As consequence, the plastic sheet takes the shape of the matrix. After cooling the product becomes firm, then after cutting the waste obtains its final form. Thermoforming offers the following advantages: a large production capacity; relatively low prices of production tools /matrix/; opportunity for extremely fast reaction; low total cost of the product; At the time of submission of this project proposal, the company has a leading position in the production of individual packages on the Bulgarian market. "Mikropak" Ltd. has a portfolio of over 300 products, finding application and realization mainly in areas such as perfume and cosmetic industry, telecommunications, light industry. With the present project proposal the company apply under the current procedure for grant to purchase a vertical metal processing center, which machine will increase production capacity of the enterprise and optimize costs. The machine produces quickly and cost effective the tooling outfit of the available equipment. The size of the machine is consistent with the shape of the available production capacity. The purchase of the vertical metal processing center will improve energy efficiency in terms of energy consumption per unit of output, improve resource efficiency and the efficiency of the production process and the quality of finished products.
