Under this financial plan the salaries and the relevant social security contributions will be funded for audit activities under ESIF carried out by the Executive Director and the respective staff of the specialized administration. The financial plan will support a number of activities which will increase the effectiveness of the control carried out by the AA - performance of audit engagements and on the spot checks for the operational programs, financed by ESIF, in order to achieve reasonable assurance on the legality and regularity of the expenditure. In addition, the necessary technical equipment will be provided for the execution of audit engagements. When implementing the financial plan, EU horizontal principles will be respected. The target group consists of the employees of the Audit Authority.
