The financial plan will support a number of activities which will increase the effectiveness of the control exercised by the AA - the execution of audit engagements and on the spot checks on the operational programs financed by ESIF to achieve reasonable assurance on the legality and regularity of expenditure. The financial plan also aims further strengthening of the capacity of AEUFEA to effectively perform its functions as an Audit Authority for the operational programs financed by the ESIF. In addition, it is planned to be provided and the necessary technical equipment and maintenance of specialized software for the execution of audit engagements. Upon execution of the financial plan will be respected horizontal EU policies. Target group- employees of the Audit Authority and external experts/auditors, hired to fulfill audit procedures and/or to provide consultancy services (external expertise).
