Boyana Agro Ltd. started operating as an agricultural producer in 2008. For the current 2020/2021 year the applicant cultivates nearly 6,000 decares with wheat, barley, corn, lemon balm and sunflower.
Boyana Agro Ltd. strives to renew the machinery in order to achieve more efficient processing, increased yields, reduced value and improved quality of the production, and hence the financial condition of the company.
With the pursuit of continuous development, the farmer is aware that investment is a key factor for success. Boyana Agro Ltd. envisages the purchase of new, modern and automated agricultural machinery under this project, including:
- Massey Ferguson tractor, MF8S.265 Dyna-7 Exclusive with front PTO, 265 hp. including the following additional equipment for precision farming according to criterion 4.4:
• Trimble navigation up to 2 cm signal;
- Navigation display Basic GFX-750 and NAV-900, Trimble, (No Radio) Isobus, Bundle EZ Pilot Pro High Accuracy - 10.1 ’’ (25.6 cm) inch touch screen;
- Section and norm control via ISOBUS - Trimble ISOBUS track controller;
 - Digitized seed drill for precision sowing Horsch Pronto 4 DC / starr / - working width 4 m, 28 pcs. sowing discs and sensors for sowing control, ISOBUS equipment, DrillManager sowing control; Variable rate function, allowing the introduction of a variable amount of seeds and fertilizer;
- Trench seed drill Vaderstad Tempo TPT 6 - 6 rows, working width 4.2 m, set of discs for sunflower and corn, ISOBUS equipment, with section control and variable rate functions.
The choice of equipment is justified by its high manufacturability and reliability. A significant advantage in the choice is the quality of service and warranty service provided by suppliers. It is planned to put the equipment into operation at the beginning of January 2022, in compliance with the deadlines for review and approval of projects by the SFA.
