The object of the investment under the project are: 1. Delivery and installation of machines and equipment for storage of fruit production and cooling/chambers/ with a temperature of +1C; Capacity – 5t; Volume – 120 m; With Automated Control; Controller; Frequency regulator. The automated control will automatically maintain the temperature and humidity relative to the stored product, and the controller and frequency regulator, which are technology of the latest generation, reduce the consumption of electrical energy.
2. Autonomous photovoltaic plant for own needs with batteries 35 kw. The photovoltaic plant will power the cameras subject to the investment and is compatible with their installed power of a total of 35kw. The annual production of electricity from the photovoltaic plant, according to an analysis by a competent person, will be 42 180 kw.h. and does not exceed the required energy for own needs.
The capacity of the cameras is selected based on the volume of production in the farm, the ripening by varieties and the retention period in order to reach volumes for the realization of a better price of the production.
The aim of the current project proposal is technological and ecological modernization of the farm and improvement of competitiveness and profitability of the activity. For this purpose, machines and equipment of the latest generation with automated management, with a controller and a frequency regulator, which automate the control of the environment during product storage and reduce energy consumption, have been selected. On the other hand, it is also planned to power the cameras from an autonomous photovoltaic plant with batteries, which will further reduce the costs of electrical energy and contribute to the protection of the environment. The ability to retain and collect a quantity of produce will contribute to achieving better sales prices and reducing waste.
