Farmer Hristo Ignatov applies for financial support under procedure BG06RDNP001-19.547 - LAG TERVEL - KRUSHARI Submeasure 4.1. "Support for investments in agricultural holdings", supported by the PRDP 2014-2020 for the purchase of planting material - lavender, variety "Sevtopilis" - 70,686 pieces, necessary for the creation of 33,660 decares of a new plantation of the aromatic culture in the land of the village of Krushari,  Dobrich region. Along with the planting material, the applicant also applies for funding to carry out the necessary soil treatments prior to planting. It is important to note that the applicant grows lavender and walnuts, and the principles of organic production are strictly followed on all available plantations. After the establishment of the plantation, it will be declared to a controlling authority for certification as a "plantation in transition" and after the relevant period - as organic.
The lavender plantation is planned to be created in a land property with ID number 40097.503.5, located in the village of Krushari, commune. Krushari, "Starite lozya" locality, with an area of 33,660 decares, permanent purpose "agricultural territory" and method of permanent use - fields. A 10-year lease has been signed for the use of the property.
