The proposed project proposal belongs to the applicant Sole trader "BOJIDAR STAMENOV - SAB-KO", under measure 6.4 "Investment support for non-agricultural activities" from the RDP for the period 2014-2020 in implementation of the approach Community-led local development /VOMR/ to the Strategy of the Local Initiative Group Karlukovski karst - Cherven Bryag - Iskar according to the procedure through the selection of project proposals No. BG06RDNP001-19.276.
The project envisages the purchase of technological equipment for the production of artistic wood products, wood carving and laser processing of wood, necessary for the development of the applicant's activity, which will increase the competitiveness and ensure the sustainable growth of an enterprise located in a rural area on the territory of LAG Karlukovski karst - Cherven bryag - Iskar .
In the existing production building, ready-made shaped blocks will be processed for the production of wood carvings, icons, wooden railings, furniture, etc. The production program will be formed based on an indefinite number and nature of the orders, which requires a certain universality of the technological process. With the purchased machines, it is planned to make an average of 2-3 wooden products per day, as a result of which the finished product will amount to 400-600 pieces per year/products with an average of 200 working days.
The current project and its implementation will lead to the achievement of the objectives of the measure to the SVOMR of the LAG Karlukovski Karst - Cherven Bryag - Iskar, namely:
• Diversification to non-agricultural activities;
• Encouraging entrepreneurship on the territory of LAG Karlukovski Karst - Cherven Bryag - Iskar, thus positively affecting the local economy;
• Creation of employment opportunities and reduction of unemployment;
• Improving the quality of life of the local population from the territory of the LAG.
