The project proposal envisages interventions in two settlements from the Municipality of Zlatograd - town Zlatograd and the village of Startsevo.
In the village of Startsevo - the largest village in the Smolyan region, activities are planned to replace the flooring of a multifunctional sports ground for basketball, volleyball, indoor football, field hockey, handball and tennis court, in RLP VI - 413 - Sports Ground , sq. 13 according to the DDP of the village of Startsevo. The sports ground was built and put into operation in 2018 but given the daily use the pavement is highly compromised.The renovation of the multifunctional sports ground will create better conditions for sports and a healthy lifestyle for the local population, which is one of the main priorities of the local government. 
The activities planned for the city of Zlatograd include the renovation of the playground in Zone III of the city park (Small Park) - replacement of the rubber flooring, replacement of the climbing frame, replacement of swings - strawberry type and airplane type, replacement of the seats of two of the swings and a themed panel for learning, communicating, experimenting, which is adapted for children with disabilities. The park was built and put into operation in 2012, during the years of intensive use, broken parts of the children's equipment were partially replaced, with own funds, swings were replaced, as well as the seats of the swings. The shock-absorbing pavement has been compromised, it has not been replaced during the entire period of operation of the park.
The implementation of the activities foreseen in the project proposal will contribute to improving the environment and the quality of life in the Municipality of Zlatograd. The main category of users will be children and youth, and we are aware that they are the future of our country and any investment in their health and proper physical development is an investment in a positive light.
