The project for "Expansion of silo farm" is planned to be implemented under a project selection procedure BG06RDNP001-19.104 under Measure 4.1. "Support for investment in agricultural holdings" from the community-led local development strategy of MIG-ELHOVO-BOLYAROVO NGO. The current investment complements the company's strategy of phased renewal of production capacities, thereby improving its competitiveness. The aim of ZOMASH Ltd. and the project in particular is the development and modernization of the applicant's agricultural holding, which will contribute to the improvement of all stages of the production and marketing of plant products, as well as to increase the competitiveness of the company on the market of grain and oleaginous crops. The main factor for the implementation of these intentions is the improvement of the capacity of the warehouse base by building a modern and efficient silo farm. In this way, the required conditions for the qualitative preservation of the harvested production will be ensured in the required time and quantity.
In this respect, the intentions set out fully cover the main objective of the local development strategy, namely: improving the competitiveness and modernization of farms by increasing the energy efficiency of the farm. It is envisaged that the site will be completed and put into operation in June 2019 for the next harvesting campaign. The expected grant for the project is 50% of the total eligible costs.
