Animal husbandry is one of the important industries for the area, and together with agriculture, form a main niche and livelihood for the local community. In recent years, the number of livestock farms wishing to modernize and strive for competitiveness in the sector has been increasing. The goal is mechanization and automation with which to improve and facilitate basic processes in animal husbandry and, accordingly, a competitive primary sector of production.
The current project proposal is under procedure BG06RDNP001-19.700 under measure 19-4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" from SVOMR of MIG Lukovit-Roman, financed by the EAFRD and the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020 and is the second for the applicant PLAMEN PETROV PETROV The first has been realized and the non-reimbursed financial funds under the program, part of the MLA's strategy, have been restored.
It is planned to purchase agricultural machinery (described in section 5. Budget in ISUN) for the operation of the farm, namely: purchase of a horizontal feed-distributing trailer with a capacity of 6 m3.
With the mentioned asset, the process of mechanization of the farm and increase of its competitiveness will be continued, the feeding process will be improved and from there the quality of the produced final product will increase: raw cow's milk.
The candidate is a natural person, a farmer with registration in accordance with Ordinance 3 of 01.29.1999 on creating and maintaining a register of farmers, with VAT registration. Owns a registered animal breeding facility, registered in accordance with Article 137, Paragraph 6 of the Law on Veterinary Medical Activity with registration number 5780-0211, located in land property 20688.70.61, in the village of Dermantsi, commune. Lukovit.
The activity is carried out entirely in a rural area, part of the territory of the MIG, and the priority in its activity is the breeding of cows for the production of quality raw cow's milk.
