The project proposal is aimed at preserving and developing the local cultural heritage and traditions. The target group is a folk dance group - eighteen amateurs aged twelve to forty-five years. The existing dance group at the community center preserves and recreates the priceless traditions and customs for the region. The costumes with which the group participates in their performances, we borrow from neighboring community centers because they do not have their own. It is essential to make authentic costumes for the dance group so that amateurs with self-confidence can promote local folklore. The costumes arouse the interest not only of the judging juries in the performances of the ensemble, but also provoke the interest of more young people and their desire to participate in various amateur initiatives. The dance group is a leader in the implementation of the Chitalishte's activities.By its nature, it is a representative group that takes part in appearances at local, regional and national level. Often these appearances are hindered, precisely because of the lack of traditional costumes. The production of authentic costumes allows the dance group to be better appreciated and to take more participation in festivals and competitions. The implementation of the project is directly related to the main activity of the applicant, because the priority of the Chitalishte is the preservation and recreation of the cultural heritage of the settlement on whose territory it operates.
