Since 2000, social services in Bulgaria have been provided by municipalities. In response to the high needs and expectations of citizens and their demographic profile, each municipality strives to continuously increase their quality and diversity. Over the years, the processes of decentralization and deinstitutionalization continued. Efforts are made to integrate measures and services from different systems so that the social needs of vulnerable groups are met more fully. The perception of the local social policy as an opportunity to upgrade the national one, provides more accelerated and adequate to the needs, economic development and new opportunities for social inclusion. The proposed project is related to the improvement of the material and technical base of buildings - municipal property through the supply of furniture and heating equipment. The buildings, united by their common function – for public use and for social services, are used by the residents of settlements on different occasions and by different groups. They organize outsourced receptions for various municipal initiatives, explanatory campaigns related to the provision of social rights (access to energy assistance, social assistance, etc.), as well as activities of the club for pensioners and the disabled in the respective locality. The investments will be made in buildings - public municipal property, as follows-1. Building for social services in the village of Krushari - Act for municipal property No. 2794 dated 01.12.2023 2. Property allocated for "Public service" - Act for private municipal property No. 2428 dated 14.05.2018 3. Gaber Village Town Hall and Kindergarten Building - Act for Public Municipal Property No. 204 of 02.12.2002. According to construction permit No. 02 dated 17.04.2024, permission was granted to carry out the construction site inspection "Major repair and change of purpose of the town hall and kindergarten in the Center for social services in the village of Gaber".
