The project "Improving the quality of life of local communities through investments in the creation of small-scale infrastructure in all settlements of the municipality of Tundzha" is aimed at renewing the appearance of public spaces in all 44 settlements within the municipality of Tundzha.
The project proposal includes eligible activities for support that contribute to the development and renovation of areas for public use, intended to meet the long-term community needs of municipal importance by improving the infrastructure and overall appearance of the settlements in the municipality of Tundzha.
The implementation of the project will result in the renewal of public spaces in the settlements, which in turn will contribute to achieving key priorities set out in the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality of Tundzha for the period 2021-2027.
The lack of public spaces for recreation, sports, and entertainment is one of the significant issues facing the municipality of Tundzha. Their renovation is a step towards building a new image of the small settlements, which will create greater convenience and comfort for both residents and visitors of the municipality.
The investments will benefit the population of the entire municipality and support sustainable development by creating favorable and attractive living conditions in all 44 settlements within the municipality of Tundzha.
Following a meeting to decide on the municipality's application for the procedure, attended by all 44 mayors and village representatives from the Tundzha municipality, it was decided that the municipality of Tundzha would apply for the delivery of the planned facilities. After delivery, the installation will be carried out by the local communities in the villages.
