The project proposal envisages "Establishment of a workshop for making souvenirs in the village of Iskra" in UPI XIV426 in quarter 39 according to the plan of the village of Iskra, municipality of Sitovo. This project proposal aims to create a workshop and premises for the workshop's activities for production activities of souvenirs, printed materials from paper, metal, glass and others. The activities that the applicant will carry out after the implementation of the investment proposal are completely new for the region, will increase the competitiveness of the applicant and the region as a whole and will generate 1 new sustainable job. The facility consists of a one-story building, divided into two functionally separate parts - a car wash - an office and a workshop for making souvenirs. With the implementation of the project proposal, the following goals will be achieved: diversification of non-agricultural economic activities and development of a micro-enterprise registered on the territory of Sitovo municipality, as well as 1 new sustainable workplace will be opened. The general and specific objectives of the project are in line with the main problems to be addressed allow by receiving the grant for the implementation of the investment project, namely: reducing unemployment by opening new jobs, diversifying the activities and producing the company's products, which are completely new for the area. The data of enterprises and employment in the territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, compared with the indicators for the Silistra region and for the country, show that the economy in Sitovo municipality has a low degree of diversification.The project proposal is aimed precisely at overcoming and improving this feature. As potential customers, the candidate relies on the residents and guests of the municipality, and there is no age limit or gender or ethnic affiliation of the members of the target group.
