Description

The activity of BALNEDE OOD is expressed in the management and operation of a gas station located in the town of Bulgarovo, with the additional code of economic activity being 47.30. The project proposal aims to increase energy efficiency and optimize the use of electricity from renewable sources at the site owned by the company. Two photovoltaic power plants (for own consumption) with a capacity of 15 kW each have been built at the gas station, which are in two separate lots. The two lots are divided as follows: one is for the gas station, the second for the gas station located in one property. The project envisages the implementation of local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverters with a capacity of 125 kW, which will allow the accumulation of the produced solar energy and its effective use during peak consumption hours. At the same time, the implementation of an energy storage system through batteries is a key component for maximum use of the produced solar energy and ensuring a stable power supply. This allows the company to manage its consumption more flexibly and use the stored energy during periods of low solar activity or increased load.
The main advantages of the system:
- Optimization of energy flows
- Reduction of peak loads
- Provision of backup power
- Increased energy autonomy
The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in electricity costs, an increase in the energy independence of the site and a reduction in carbon emissions, while strengthening the sustainable and innovative image of the company. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021–2027 and European policies for energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources.
