Zora Ltd. is a small company, specializes in the production of construction and decorative rock materials.
The company's activity falls into the economic sectors that are characterized by a high consumption of electrical energy.
The management of the enterprise undertakes regular measures to improve the energy efficiency and independence of Zora OOD, by introducing modern technologies and equipment, as well as systems for producing energy from renewable sources for own needs.
In 2023, the company built two photovoltaic power plants at the rock processing workshops in Ivaylovgrad and Pomorie.
In this regard, the activities of the current project are related to the installation of local energy storage facilities, batteries in combination with inverters to the two photovoltaic power plants.
Electrical energy storage facilities (batteries) will contribute to the balance in the power produced by photovoltaics and will help overcome one of the disadvantages of renewable sources, namely intermittent production.
The implementation of the project activities will enable a faster recovery and growth of Zora OOD in the main problem areas that hinder its competitiveness and delay its transformation towards low carbon and resource efficient production.
