Description

“CO MORENIA” Ltd. plans to implement a project aimed at improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of the Sunny Day Club Hotel, located in the northern part of the Sunny Beach resort. The main investment involves the installation of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with a total installed capacity of 115 kWp, including solar panels, inverters, and a battery energy storage system.

The project foresees the generation of electricity exclusively for the hotel’s own consumption, while the integrated storage facility will enable balanced utilization of the produced energy and a reduction in dependence on the national power grid. The investment will contribute to higher energy independence, optimization of operational costs, and a reduction of the hotel’s carbon footprint.

The implementation of the project will result in:
•	decreased consumption of electricity from non-renewable sources;
•	reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation of the environmental impact;
•	more efficient energy management through the storage and use of produced electricity during peak load hours;
•	sustainable reduction of operating costs and improved competitiveness of the company in the tourism sector.

The project forms part of the company’s long-term strategy for the modernization of its energy infrastructure and the adoption of environmentally responsible practices, in line with the priorities of the European Green Deal and the national objectives for energy efficiency and renewable energy use.
