The project proposal envisages the purchase and commissioning of 6 air-to-water heat pumps, 5 of which are 65 kW each, one of 60 kW in the Meridian Hotel, Sunny Beach, Nessebar Municipality, owned by Meridian Tours Ltd. Four of the 65 Kw heat pumps will be installed in the hotel and common areas, the remaining two heat pumps will be installed in the hotel restaurant. The six heat pumps will replace the currently operating chillers, which were manufactured and installed in 2006, are obsolete and energy inefficient. Through the planned investment, the project will contribute to improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise, reducing electricity costs in the long term and achieving a higher level of flexibility and security. For Meridian Tours Ltd., ensuring energy efficiency through this project proposal accelerates the company's transition to eco-friendly activities in the tourism industry, in line with the goals of the country and the European Union for a green economy and climate neutrality.
