The current project proposal is an investment for the implementation of a photovoltaic plant for own needs in an existing fruit processing plant of an agricultural producer. The high energy intensity of the installations for processing fruits through drying leads to the need to build a photovoltaic plant for the production of electricity for own needs. Dryers are powered by electricity. The implementation of a photovoltaic plant will increase the efficiency of the company. Newly installed capacities provide approximately 65 to 70% of the required electricity. The specific power of the plant is determined after an analysis of energy consumption and the possibility of installing photovoltaic panels and inverters. The implementation of the project proposal is aimed at achieving the objectives of Submeasure 4.2. "Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products" from measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the 2014-2020 RDP to improve the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises from the food processing industry by improving environmental protection. As a result, the implementation of the project is expected to achieve a significant ecological effect of production in the country and investments related to the reduction of harmful emissions when using technologies for the production of electrical energy.
