The project proposal is in response to the outlined problems related to energy efficiency in the Hotel "Tiva del Mar" - high electricity consumption and correspondingly high operating costs when using existing systems; inefficient use and losses of energy due to depreciated equipment; increased carbon footprint and negative impact on the environment; insufficient comfort for hotel guests during peak loads. These problems will be overcome by supplying and putting into operation a highly efficient heat pump (air/water) and a chiller with a water cooling unit.
The main objective is to increase energy efficiency in the Hotel "Tiva del Mar" and reduce carbon emissions in the activities of the enterprise "Elina AD" EOOD through investment in modern energy-efficient systems.
The specific objectives are: reducing energy consumption and energy costs in the Hotel "Tiva del Mar" through the use of highly efficient technologies; reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint of the enterprise "Elina AD" EOOD; and increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of the enterprise by optimizing production costs and introducing green technologies.
With the investment in a heat pump and chiller, the company will replace outdated and inefficient equipment at the Hotel Tiva del Mar with highly efficient systems that will reduce energy consumption, utilize waste heat for domestic needs and provide sustainable heating and cooling. This will achieve significant energy savings, lower carbon emissions and higher comfort for guests, in line with national and European energy efficiency and green economy goals.
