Description

ZOI-CLIMA Ltd. is a Bulgarian small enterprise engaged in its main economic activity within Sector C – “Manufacturing”, Group 33 – “Repair and installation of machinery and equipment”, specifically under code 33.20 – “Installation of industrial machinery and equipment”, in accordance with NACE.BG-2008. The project investments are directed towards improving the energy efficiency of this activity.
The overall objective of the project is to implement investments in tangible fixed assets (photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, with a total installed capacity of 56 kW) in order to enhance the company’s energy efficiency and to increase the use of energy from renewable sources (in this case, solar energy) for own consumption. This will, in turn, lead to improved competitiveness and reduced energy intensity of the enterprise. Consequently, the project will contribute to accelerating the transition of the private sector towards climate neutrality through the reduction of the carbon footprint, optimization of energy consumption, and an increased share of renewable energy sources in the company’s energy mix.
Furthermore, the implementation of the planned investments will support the achievement of the objectives of the Energy Union for secure, sustainable, competitive, and affordable energy.
The defined project objectives are fully consistent with the purpose of the grant support provided under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004.
To achieve the project objectives, the implementation of one main activity is foreseen, namely:
Activity 1: Actions aimed at improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the enterprise.
Through the implementation of the project, the corresponding target values of all three mandatory indicators under the procedure will be achieved.
