The International Scientific Symposium Metrology and Metrological Assurance (ISS MMA) is held within the framework of the annual Science Days of TU-Sofia in the city of Sozopol. In 2026 it will be its 36th edition. The symposium is organized by: TU-Sofia (Department of PEMT and Department of IME). Co-organizers are the Bulgarian Section of IEEE, Bulgarian Institute of Metrology, Union of Metrologists in Bulgaria, Bulgarian Academic Metrological Society and Kozloduy NPP EAD. The Symposium traditionally involves scientists and specialists in the field of metrology and metrological assurance from leading universities, scientific organizations, metrological centers and companies from Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Denmark,  Macedonia, Greece, etc.
The working languages ​​are English, Bulgarian and Russian.
The best papers on IEEE topics, in whole or in part, are published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (indexed in SCOPUS). All other peer-reviewed papers are published in the Proceedings of XXXV ISS MMA 2026 in English in electronic form.
