CC HITMOBIL is a research infrastructure aiming, through high scientific achievements and innovations, to accelerate the implementation of modern technologies for clean energy, contributing to Bulgaria's sustainable transition to a low-carbon economy. The center unites the national research potential in the field, has modern apparatus and laboratories, of which "Batteries", "Photovoltaic modules and generators", "Hydrogen and fuel cells", "Bioenergy" are a kind of innovation hub, in which proven i scientific ideas are developed into laboratory prototypes (TRL 2/4). "HIT for energy storage and electromobility" is equipped with a complex hybrid energy system, battery and hydrogen electromobile (battery and H2 driven), mainly for training and training activities. Unique  is the field laboratory "Integrated Energy Systems", where on area of 8 decares PV park, emulator of wind generator, the latest energy storage systems of various types,  H2 charging station and own generator of green hydrogen are installed. The activities include research, analysis and demonstration of the most suitable combinations of systems for the production, storage and use of renewable energy, depending on the given application, scale and climatic conditions. 
The current project proposal presents a program with a business plan for further development of the Centre. The research activities cover 7 work packages for development, improvement and testing of energy systems. The Business Plan analyzes the state of the research services market and outlines the possibilities for expanding the activity through additional projects and services with different sources of funding, which will create conditions for the long-term sustainability of CoC HITMOBIL and its positioning as a leading test bed and innovation center in the field of green energy in the region, competitive also at the European level.
