Description

Brief description 
Стратегията за водено от общностите местно развитие на „Местна инициативна група-Пещера-Брацигово“ е планов документ, който цели да допринесе за преодоляването на икономическите и социални различия в развитието на територията, чрез целенасочена  финансова подкрепа за съхраняване на спецификата на територията и преодоляване на наличните разнопосочни проблеми, основани на местните потребности и потенциал. Стратегията допълва политиките на национално, регионално и местно ниво. Тя се стреми да надгради силните страни на територията на община Пещера и община Брацигово в социален, екологичен и икономически план, като адаптира политиките към реалните потребности и възможности.
След изготвянето на анализа на силните и слаби страни, на идентифицираните нужди и проблеми, възможностите за развитие на територията на МИГ Пещера Брацигово и потенциалът, с който разполага района, бе структурирана следната визия:
Територията на МИГ Пещера Брацигово - привлекателна за иновации и бизнес, развит туристически и културен център, предпочитано място за живот и труд. Територия, в която хора от различни етнически групи и култури работят заедно и живеят в мир.
Стратегията на „МИГ-Пещера-Брацигово“ е съобразена и с приетата визия, приоритети и цели, които определят рамката за реализация на Интегрираната териториална стратегия за развитие на Южен Централен район – „Южен Централен Район - привлекателно място за живеене, бизнес и туризъм, с по-добри условия за комуникация и съхранено природно, и културно наследство”.
