Description

Brief description 
Местна инициативна група Твърдица – Сливен – Долината на прасковите  обхваща всички населени места от община Твърдица  и четиринадесет населени места от община Сливен, без гр.Сливен в неговите териториални граници. МИГ съставлява част от област Сливен. Разположена е по южните склонове на Средна Стара планина на обща площ от 790,2 км². По данни на НСИ към 31.12.2020г. обхванатото от МИГ население е 22 278 жители.
Идентифицирани са заинтересовани страни от трите сектора - публичен, стопански и нестопански. Целевите групи, към които е насочена стратегията са представители на местния производствен и преработвателен бизнес, земеделски стопани, представители на нестопанския сектор, в т.ч. читалища, представители на местната администрация, както и уязвими групи от населението, в т.ч. роми.  
Стратегията за развитие е еднофондова като се финансира  от Европейския земеделски фонд за развитие на селските райони. Включва седем броя мерки, обосновани от идентифицираните потребности на територията:  подобряване конкурентоспособността в селското стопанство, производствения и преработвателен сектор, подобряване на условията за живот и публичната инфраструктура, както и за оживяване на територията и създаване на интелигентни селища. Предвидено е финансиране за сътрудничество с други МИГ-ове от страната или други страни-членки на ЕС. Осигуреният общ публичен принос е в размер на 5 867 400 лв.,от които 1 466 850 лв. са за управление и популяризиране.
На основание ПМС № 494  от 30.12.2024 г. е предвидено допълващо финансиране от Европейския фонд за регионално развитие (ЕФРР) и Европейския социален фонд+ (ЕСФ+) чрез  Програма „Конкурентоспособност и иновации в предприятията“ 2021–2027 г., Програма „Развитие на човешките ресурси“2021-2027 г., Програма „Образование“ 2021–2027 г. и  Програма „Околна среда“ 2021-–2027г.
Крайният срок за изпълнение  на стратегията е 30 септември 2029г.
