Candidate for the current procedure BG06RDNP001-4.012 is the farmer Pencho Nedyalkov. It is registered under the VAT Act and under Ordinance №3 of 1999 for the establishment and maintenance of a register of farmers, raising calves for meat in a livestock farm with registration №6922540002, issued under Article 137 of the LCA, located in the village of Stefanovo, municipality Lovech.
The applicant also cultivates agricultural land on which agricultural crops are grown for the production of fodder necessary for animal husbandry as well as pastures and meadows. The farm complies with the requirements of Ordinance 44 of 2006 on veterinary requirements.
A project proposal has been prepared for the purchase of tangible assets, which are in the context of the implementation of measures for the introduction of hygiene and animal welfare, incl. biosecurity and modernization and adaptation to new conditions of equipment and technologies leading to better and more efficient management of the livestock farm for beef cattle breeding. The implementation of the project initiative will help to support activities through which existing resources will be used to create sustainable business, such as finding new ways to mobilize and use existing resources, while maximizing environmental protection. It is planned to purchase attached agricultural machinery, which will work in the field (meadows) and will produce the main hay and bales for feeding. The available inventory at the moment is old, depreciated, second-hand ones have been purchased, which do not give the necessary results on the farm. The livestock farm also has a huge need for a feed trailer for mixing and distributing food to the cattle 365 days a year. For this purpose, an 8 m3 trailer for mixing fodder was selected, vertically, equipped with a side door with hydraulic opening, a vertical mixing auger and a scale with a programmer, as well as a machine for servicing and selection of animals.
