The project proposal includes replacement of stage decor, including bottom, sleeves and carpet for stage. All this will renew the concert hall "Velko Kanev" at the Community Center "Development-1893" Elhovo, which is the largest in the Municipality of Elhovo. The bottom and sleeves, which are made of black plush, have not been replaced since the building was founded in 1969. During concert performances and various activities on stage, different stage decor and props were used, but the bottom and sleeves have not been changed, and they are the main stage decor.Almost every theatrical performance and other stage performances, especially the dance ones, require a carpet, as the stage has wooden floors. The available bottom, sleeves and carpet are outdated, torn, dusty and long out of use. The high market price does not allow us to renew them with our own funds.
The building of the Community Center "Development-1893" is impressive and impressive, massive, functional, with many possibilities. In recent years, repairs have been carried out. The windows have been renewed, the bathrooms have been renovated, the premises have been plastered, the building has been rehabilitated and the roof has been repaired.Fire alarm, fire extinguishing and heating systems have been built. Rehearsal halls, administrative rooms and the library are equipped. The following have been formed at the Chitalishte: amateur theater troupe; choir for processed folklore, dance ensembles for different age groups, group for authentic folklore, group for old city songs, Ballet school, Music studio, with piano school and vocal group; bagpipe school, art word club, art school, Russian language school, folk singing school and carol group.The concert hall in the community center is on two levels, with a total of 530 seats and a large stage.
