Description

BIO HORIZONT EOOD is a company operating since 2016, in the direction of trout farming in its own fish farm "Pirin", with an area of over 50 decares located in the town of Razlog. At the beginning of 2023 a change was made in the legal status of the company, from an OOD to an EOOD. The change was dictated by the high prices of energy carriers and the increase in operational costs such as fuel, feed, fertilized caviar, medicinal preparations, etc., as a result of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine. Given the fact that the cost of the cultivated production increased, the financial liquidity of the farm required additional capitalization. For this reason, all company shares were transferred to the manager and sole owner of the capital of BIO HORIZONT EOOD. The annual production under normal conditions (years without the Covid 19 pandemic and military actions in Ukraine) is between 150 - 200 tons of edible trout. By 2023 the company intends to offer over 100 tons of its own production to the market. This project proposal is being submitted for approval by the Managing Authority of the program in relation to mitigating the consequences of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine to offset inflationary costs of feed and fuel for trout farming.
