The project envisages the purchase of agricultural machinery for the needs of the vineyards managed by "Midalidare Estate" EOOD in the village of Mogilovo, municipality of Chirpan. The applicant cultivates 139.64 acres of vineyards, from which various red and white varieties are obtained, including Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc.
The vineyards of "Midalidare Estate" EOOD are fully certified as bio/organic.
The offer includes the purchase of two overhead fan sprayers, two inter-row cultivators and two inter-row bio cultivators equipped with a brush for removing shoots. The total value of the equipment is BGN 126,346.62 without VAT.
The agricultural machinery included in the project proposal will significantly increase the productivity and optimize the vineyard processing processes. The need to use an external service will disappear and the risks of shortage of agricultural machinery and labor will be eliminated, especially during the periods of campaigns for the processing of the vineyards and the dependence of the work schedule on climatic conditions. The technical characteristics and high efficiency of the agricultural machinery are a prerequisite for reducing the costs of fuel and raw materials when performing the agrotechnical measures, with which the implementation of the project will reduce the carbon footprint of the farm on the environment.
Purchasing the assets will also reduce the amount of manual labor. A bio cultivator with a brush for removing shoots will have a particularly high effect when replacing manual work with mechanized work.
The specialized equipment will provide a more efficient method of agricultural processing of the vineyard massifs of "Midalidare Estate" EOOD, will increase productivity and give the applicant the opportunity to increase his yields.
