The project: "Costumes - outward appearance of tradition and way of life from the past - into the future" is aimed at the purchase of Thracian folk costumes for the needs of the amateur singing group at the NARODNO CHITALISHTE "LACH-1918 - S. BORETS" The community center wishes to revive a long-forgotten "Festival of folk creativity", to renew and carry the forgotten past into the future, where the traditions of our old folk customs will come to life, remember and preserve. Once a year, a "Festival of folk creativity" will be organized and held, in which the self-made people of the Community Center, children from the local kindergarten, the local school, as well as self-made collectives from the Municipality will take part. Every year, in addition to the presentation of folk songs and dances, the self-made people from the local community center will prepare and show one local custom for the village of Borets. "Festival of folk creativity" is a long-standing tradition, it was held as far back as 1967, as evidenced by numerous photos and chronicles preserved in the community center. By providing Thracian folk costumes for the amateurs from the singing group at the Community Center for the presentation of forgotten folk traditions and customs, the aim is to preserve the local folk traditions, which are related to the preservation of Bulgarian folk customs, songs and dances, as well as the participation of the amateurs in conducting and organizing on the territory of the village of Borets "Festival of folk creativity", as well as the opportunity to participate in events held on the territory of the municipality of Brezovo - traditional gatherings, etc. holidays. The folk costume is an invariable part of the appearance of traditional folk songs and customs, and through it we dress the traditions in the traditional colors of Bulgaria.
