With this project proposal, the applicant wishes to purchase 40 camouflage video cameras for outdoor installation in order to prevent poaching and monitor the waters along the Trigradska River and its tributaries and in the part from the source to the Bukov Most area. Our idea aims, through the construction of a visual observation covering all points that can potentially provide information and prevent poaching attempts on the river, which will lead to an increase in fish stocks, environmental protection, and also help us and to prevent floods like we had last year. The main motive for visiting the Trigrad area is one-day visits to the Devil's Throat cave and fishing tourism, which makes us take care of fish stocks and their development. Every year the river is stocked with trout, but unfortunately there is no other effective way to protect against poaching from video surveillance. The applicant undertakes to monitor for poachers year-round, using his own office to install the computer configuration and monitor and provide the information as needed to IARA officials, the police, etc. Also maintain the cameras through regular maintenance. After the implementation of the project, we will provide access to the cameras and to IARA employees. If there is a signal about poachers, we will work in sync with IARA and the police, and we as volunteers. For the purposes of implementing the project, we have requested consent from the Smolyan south central forest enterprise and the Trigrad south central forest enterprise and we have received positive opinions on the installation of the cameras on trees, in their capacity as owners of the forest massifs around the river.
